Installation

Site Options

The following features can be configured from Panel > Site Options.

  • Site title
  • Logo
  • Site icon
  • Social profiles
  • Sharing links
  • Footer text
  • Google Analytics

To add a logo or a site icon just add an image to Site files and select it from the dropdown field.

Social Profiles

Add your social profiles easily, you just have to include the name and the URL of your social network. The theme shows your social menu in the header and displays icons automatically.

Available social icons: Codepen, Digg, Dribbble, Dropbox, Email, Facebook, Flickr, Foursquare, GitHub, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Pocket, Reddit, RSS Feed, Spotify, StumbleUpon, Tumblr, Twitch, Twitter, Vimeo, WordPress, YouTube.

Activate the sharing links you would like to show at the bottom of the articles.

Creating Content

Under Dashboard > Pages > Add you can choose from three templates:

  • Page
  • Articles
  • Authors

Page

This is the default for standard pages.

Page

Footer navigation option: By default, all visible pages appear in the top menu. If you check this option, the page will be shown in the footer menu instead of the top.


Articles

Magazine theme uses pages as categories. Add a page using the Articles template to group all the articles of a certain category. Notice that if you prefer not to use categories you can group all articles inside a page (e.g. Blog).

Authors

Magazine theme uses pages for authors.

Author page

Author page

Author page includes the author's name, bio and an image that you can add in Files. The author page template shows all the author articles.


Homepage

The home page shows the latest articles. To display an article as the main article on the home page, go to Dashboard > Home and select it.

Contact

Magazine theme includes a contact page with a contact form.

You can define the next sending options from the panel:

  • From: the email address in the message header.
  • To: the email address of the message recipient.
  • Subject: The topic of the message.

Inside the contact page, you can see a thank you page which shows a message when the form has been sent.

Magazine is ready for multiple languages. For more information visit the multilanguage section.
